Venkata Patnala has developed a passion for helping people who suffer from all manner musculoskeletal injuries or conditions, with a special interest in neck, shoulders, hands, back, and knees, as well as treating Concussion.

Venkata believes that finding the root of the problem is the key to relieving the symptoms experienced by his patients, rather than simply masking the symptoms with medications, or providing treatment with only short-term benefits. This approach requires understanding his patients individually and applying an appropriate treatment intervention after a thorough assessment process. Using this individualized approach, Venkata can achieve results leading to significant improvement in symptoms for most musculoskeletal injuries.

With the skills acquired throughout this period, Venkata has helped countless clients and patients with their goals of living a pain-free, active, and full life. He guarantees that his patients will receive the highest quality and highest evidenced level of care, now and into the future.

With the experience of over 16 years, Venkata has received advanced training in manual therapy and he is a certified Mckenzie Therapist (CertMDT). He completed his Master of physiotherapy in Orthopedics in India in 2009 and he is a certified Manual therapist from the Institute of therapeutic sciences, Michigan (USA), certified GUNN IMS (Dry needling) from UBC, Canada, Certified Schroth Scoliosis Therapist (BSPTS), and also he has taken courses on Concussion, Vestibular rehabilitation, Acupuncture Certification (McMaster University), TMJ certification, Advanced shoulder specialty, Mulligan Concept, Advanced manual therapy courses Level 2 and K taping certification.

Kinley is passionate about empowering his patients and patient centered care. He takes the time to explain, discuss and ensure his patient is involved in every step of their care plan. Kinley completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Rajiv Ghandi University of Health Sciences, India, and his Master of Science in Rehabilitation at McMaster University, where he received a Program Excellence Award.

Before moving to Canada, he has worked as physiotherapist in Bhutan for more than seven years in multidisciplinary settings such as outpatient clinic, hospitals, sports organisations, and rehabilitation settings. His practice is guided by Evidence Based Practice, and he believes in continuous learning and education. Outside of the clinic, Kinley loves listening to podcasts and playing traditional Bhutanese archery.

Carren Pereirai

Physiotherapist

Carren has a Master’s in Physiotherapy specializing in musculoskeletal and sports disorders from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. Carren has over 4 years of rich and diverse work experience in different clinical settings and with various populations in different countries. So far, she has undertaken McKenzie, Mulligan, Concussion management, and Pelvic Floor courses and it does not end there. She believes in constantly updating her knowledge by doing new courses to learn new techniques that can help people heal faster. Using an evidence-based treatment approach along with the experience of seeing different cases over the years has helped her get good outcomes for her patients.

Outside work, Carren loves spending time with family and reading fiction novels.

Registered Acupuncturist

Hurong (Helen) is a passionate and reliable person. Because of her Western medicine background, she can better understand the clientโ€™s situation and follow the principle of Chinese medicine to deal with the overall balance of the human body better.

Helen Got her bachelorโ€™s degree in medicine at Shanghai Medical University, Shanghai, China in 1995. Shanghai Medical University is one of the top Western Medicine schools in China. She got her Ph.D. degree at Fudan University, Shanghai, China in 2012. After she moved to Canada, she studied TCM acupuncture at the Georgian College and is now a Registered acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturist of Ontario (CTCMPAO). To gain unique experience in treating patients, since the year 2018, she becomes an apprentice of Dr. LU, Lihuan, who is a famous inheritor of โ€œLuโ€™s Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapyโ€, which is nationalโ€™s and Shanghaiโ€™s intangible cultural heritage. She continues to keep further academic learning and practicing.

Helenโ€™s areas of interest are gastrointestinal disorder, womenโ€™s conditions such as PMS, infertility, menopause, menstrual cramps, and weight control; eye disorders such as dry eye, myopia, macular degeneration; mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, stress, and insomnia; other conditions treated include any kinds of pain conditions.

During her treatments she is not only limited to acupuncture, she adopts multiple modalities including cupping, tui-na massage, acupressure, and gua sha according to the situation of patients. Her main goal is to use the TCM principle to help the clients to live in a healthy and happy manner.

Meet Shiwani, a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant with a diverse background in the field of healthcare. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, Shiwani began their professional journey as a Physiotherapist in Nepal, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experience over one year.

Eager to expand their expertise and contribute to the healthcare administration realm, Shiwani pursued a Post-Graduate degree in Health Care Administration and Human Resource Management. This additional qualification equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of managing healthcare services and human resources within the industry.

Driven by a passion for patient care and rehabilitation, she later ventured into Canada, where they transitioned into the role of a Physiotherapy Assistant and Clinic administration. Over two years in Canada, Shiwani seamlessly integrated their international experience with the local healthcare system, providing crucial support to physiotherapists and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

With a unique blend of hands-on clinical experience, administrative know-how, and a multicultural perspective, Shiwani stands as a valuable asset in the field of physiotherapy. Their commitment to enhancing the well-being of individuals through a holistic approach makes them a compassionate and skilled professional in the realm of healthcare.


Apeksha Sharma

Apeksha is a compassionate and skilled physiotherapist dedicated to helping clients move with greater strength, confidence, and ease. She provides whole-person care for musculoskeletal injuries, sports concerns, neurological conditions, and pelvic floor dysfunctions, blending manual therapy with individualized exercise programs to support the body as a complete system.
With advanced training in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy (Levels 1 & 2) and her Level 3 Biopsychosocial Reframed certification, she integrates pain science, nervous-system understanding, and trauma-informed care into her practice, allowing her to address complex pelvic and persistent pain conditions with sensitivity and depth.
Her experience across hospitals, clinics, NGOs, and even COVID ICUs reflects her resilience, empathy, and dedication to meaningful patient care. Grounded in lifelong learning and a whole-body approach, Apekshaโ€™s mission is to help every client restore mobility, rebuild confidence, and return to a healthier, more active life.


Chhavi Mathur

Chhavi Mathur is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Masterโ€™s degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Injuries from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. With 6 years of experience in diverse clinical and hospital settings, she brings a balanced, patient-focused approach to care.

She is skilled in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation, taping, and cupping, combining hands-on techniques with targeted exercise-based therapy to support long-term recovery. Chhavi is also a Level 1 Pelvic Physiotherapist, trained to treat conditions such as pelvic pain, postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction etc.

Committed to lifelong learning, Chhavi continuously updates her practice with the latest evidence-based techniques. Her treatment philosophy is built on five core pillars: thorough assessment, hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise programming, functional training, and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery.
